Colonel Vasireddy Ravi Shankar (Retd.) is an alumnus of Sainik School, Korukonda, Andhra Pradesh and the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA), Pune . He was commissioned into the Corps of Engineers in December 1984 after completing his training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.

During his distinguished service career, he held key appointments across India and was privileged to serve as the Registrar of Sainik School, Kunjpura, Haryana (1991-1994).

Dr. Y.S. Ravi Kumar is a seasoned expert in Mathematics and a teacher par excellence. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Mathematics from Magadh University, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate. Over the course of his career, he has been recognized with 12 prestigious international and national awards in the field of education.

Dr. Y.S. Ravi Kumar began his career as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) under the Kolkata region, where he served for 12 years.
