Shri C. B. R. Prasad Garu, a distinguished former airman of the Indian Air Force and a noted philanthropist, has made an extraordinary contribution to the cause of education and nation building. With deep commitment to nurturing future generations, he generously donated 8 acres of land along with a 72,000 sq. ft. fully constructed building to Vidya Bharati for the establishment of Netaji Sainik School, Vijayawada. This remarkable gift provided the institution with ready-to-use infrastructure, housing spacious classrooms, science laboratories, a mathematics lab, and essential academic facilities that form the backbone of the school.

His vision goes beyond material support—he has consistently dedicated his resources to empowering youth through education, discipline, and patriotism. Known for his unparalleled generosity, he also donated ₹1.08 crore to the Ministry of Defence in 2019, setting an inspiring example of service to the nation even after his years in uniform. Shri C. B. R. Prasad Garu’s contributions have not only strengthened the foundations of Sainik School Vijayawada but have also left a lasting legacy of sacrifice, commitment, and devotion to the twin causes of education and national service.
